About Urena Candle Company

Hola! I'm Ana Ureña, founder of Urena Candle Company.

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always loved lighting candles. How they light up a room, set the mood with intoxicating fragrance. As I’ve gotten older though, I became more sensitive to certain smells. Beauty products, perfumes, cleaning products, and candles would all send me hiding under the covers in a dark room waiting for the migraines to go away.

Around 2017, I started making the switch to products with more natural ingredients, and happened to google “candle making kit” at the same time. The rest is history. 

Coincidence? Maybe!

They are more than just candles, they are an extension of what I do everyday. As a trained professional in the design field, and always having the urge to create, candles just happen to be the vessel in which I express myself.

All the candles I make are 100% soy, made with clean fragrances and lead free wicks, hand poured, and contain no colors or dyes. So rest assured not only will your candles smell great, they are good to burn too!
